WASHINGTON, D.C., August 24, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Borrowing Planned Parenthood’s talking points almost verbatim, the Obama administration is now encouraging parents to begin thinking about their children, and even babies, as “sexual beings” who should be allowed to sexually stimulate themselves from infancy.

“Children are human beings and therefore sexual beings,” says a Q&A about sex directly linked to by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).  “It’s hard for parents to acknowledge this, just as it’s hard for kids to think of their parents as sexually active. But even infants have curiosity about their own bodies, which is healthy and normal.”

The page was reported by NewsBusters before it was picked up by Fox News on Tuesday.

The talking points on the page closely reflect the counseling on a parenting page by Planned Parenthood, the nation’s top contraception and sex education lobby, where readers are told they “need to give babies a sense of themselves, their sexuality, and their bodies from birth.”

Sounds like a page taken from the "research" of Dr. Kinsey or something ripped from the pages of a NAMBLA publication, and not anything you would expect to find on an official government website.

Then again, this is Obama administration we're talking.  This man and his cabinet of fools have taken progressive lunacy and thrown into the center of American life.

The idea that infants and children are "sexual beings" is ludicrous.  Infants touch themselves, yes, but for sexual pleasure?  You've got to be joking.  Are they "born gourmets" because they put things in their mouths?  I don't think so.  This argument is something that was peddled by Dr. Kinsey in his infamous "research" (which, by the way, used information gathered from pedophiles who raped innocent children in the name of science, with the knowledge and encouragement of Kinsey), and was later taken up by the pro-pedophilia movement started by groups like NAMBLA (read one of their publications and the information on the DHHS website and you'll find the same vile talking points). 

The whole thing shows just how far we as a society have fallen, and why we need, as a society, to turn back to God and acknowledge Christ as King, all of us, if we're ever to fix the damage wrought by the "progressives".

WASHINGTON, D.C., June 2, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – For the third year in a row, President Barack Obama has declared June a month to celebrate homosexuals.

“Every generation of Americans has brought our Nation closer to fulfilling its promise of equality. While progress has taken time, our achievements in advancing the rights of LGBT Americans remind us that history is on our side, and that the American people will never stop striving toward liberty and justice for all,” wrote Obama, in declaring June to be “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Month.”

I'm going to puke... turning the  month dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus into a month celebrating a disordered, deviant lifestyle.

Still think the Democratic Party are our friends?

Washington Examiner: Jihadis who fought U.S. in Iraq, Afghanistan now enjoy American support in Libya

Evidence is emerging that United States forces are waging war in Libya on behalf of rebels whose ranks include jihadis who fought against the U.S. in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq.
Britain's Daily Telegraph reports that Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi, a leader of U.S.-supported rebel forces in the fighting around Adjabiya, went to Afghanistan in 2002 to fight against the "foreign invasion" -- that is, U.S. troops who invaded Afghanistan in retaliation for the September 11 attacks.  The Telegraph says al-Hasidi told an Italian newspaper, Il Sole 24 Ore, that he was captured in 2002 in Peshawar, Pakistan.  "He was later handed over to the U.S., and then held in Libya before being released in 2008," the Telegraph reports.  Al-Hasidi also told the Italian paper he recruited about 25 Libyan men to fight against U.S. forces in Iraq.

I wonder how the "Commander-in-Chief" will get himself out of THIS one?

Should Obama be impeaced over Libya?

Has Obama comitted "high crimes and treason", and if he has, should he be impeached?

Let's take a look at the situation in Libya (and for Pete's sake, don't bring up Iraq; that has nothing to do with the current situation).  Article I, Section 8 of the United States Constitution gives the power to declare war solely to Congress.  The only time that the president may use military force without a formal declaration of war is when Congress authorizes said use of force via a joint resolution, in line with the War Powers Act (a good example of this would be the Korean War). 

To my knowledge, there has been neither.  There has been no formal declaration of war against Libya, and from what I've seen Congress has not authorized the president to use military force in line with the War Powers Act, and yes, even using military force to enforce a UN resolution requires an act of Congress according to the laws of the United States.

It's clear to me that President Obama has attacked a sovereign nation without authorization from Congress, in violation of the United States Constitution and the War Powers Act.  If that does not constitute "high crimes and treason" I don't know what does.  In light of this clear violation of our laws, I believe Congress should and must introduce articles of impeachment against President Obama and remove him from office.

Obama Pick Supports Stifling Religious Belief

(CNSNews.com) - Chai Feldblum, the Georgetown University law professor nominated by President Obama to serve on the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, has written that society should “not tolerate” any “private beliefs,” including religious beliefs, that may negatively affect homosexual “equality.”

Feldblum, whose nomination was advanced in a closed session of the Senate Health Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee on December 12, published an article entitled “Moral Conflict and Liberty: Gay Rights and Religion” in the Brooklyn Law Review in 2006.

Lovely eh?  Apparently, in the words of this extreme liberal pick by Obama, people don't have the right to hold their private religious views if they offend somebody.  I bring this up because it's just another example of the extreme secular liberalism that is infecting the Obama administration, and indeed society as a whole.
